THE VAGUE VERSION

Is this person a good communicator?

ADD THE CONTEXT

Thinking about the past month, how consistently did this person explain the next action after a team discussion? Describe one example and one change that would help.

01

Name the decision first

Before writing questions, define what the results will help you improve, continue, stop, or investigate.

02

Choose the right level of anonymity

Anonymous feedback can improve candor, but small groups may still feel identifiable. Explain exactly how responses will be handled.

03

Ask one thing at a time

Avoid questions that combine several ideas. Use specific language and a consistent rating scale.

04

Pair ratings with context

A score shows direction; a focused comment prompt helps explain why the respondent chose it.

05

Close the loop

Share what you learned, what will change, and what will not change. People give better feedback when they see evidence that it matters.

AVOID / 01

Surveying without a decision

If no one knows what the results will change, the survey becomes an activity instead of a tool.

AVOID / 02

Changing rating scales midstream

Switching meanings from question to question creates avoidable errors and weakens comparisons.

AVOID / 03

Publishing identifiable comments

Details can expose respondents even when names are hidden. Review comments before broad distribution.

Looking ahead

The plan behind the experience.

These items describe future work for InsightReflect. Planned features, draft proposals, and deferred ideas are identified separately.

Planned

Critique configuration and execution

Dedicated scales, categories, codes, reusable templates, subject selection, item ratings, notes, and submission.

Planned

360 feedback and review aggregation

Self, peer, and supervisor evaluations, optional peer anonymity, category averages, and trends.

Reporting and record migration

Completion and progress reports, CSV or PDF output, and preservation of legacy critique history.

Planned

Policy training-needs handoff

The policy analytics roadmap identifies a future training-needs handoff into InsightReflect.

Planned Connected accreditation

AccreditPath would connect standards, dated assessment cycles, assignments, and version-specific proofs from policies, quizzes, qualifications, and completed checklists. Its roadmap includes self-assessment, time-limited assessor access, reporting, edition crosswalks, and AI evidence suggestions for human review.

  • Standards & cycles
  • Evidence links
  • Self-assessment
  • Assessor access
  • Reports & gaps
Planned Bring Your Own Agent

Connect an agency-approved personal AI agent to permitted platform information. The planned design includes expiring access, scoped permissions, useful answer tools, human-reviewed proposals, optional limited actions, event updates, exports, and agency oversight.

  • Guided connection
  • Permission controls
  • Reviewable proposals
  • Activity logs
  • Revocation

Roadmap reviewed September 7, 2026. Planned features have no committed release date. Availability of implemented features depends on enabled modules, permissions, configuration, and rollout. The wider platform roadmap also covers shared messaging, team workflows, reporting, notifications, and record migration.

Straight answers

A little more clarity.

What is 360-degree feedback?

It gathers perspectives from more than one source, such as the individual, peers, and a supervisor. The value comes from a shared purpose and a considered follow-up conversation.

Can feedback be anonymous?

The new module’s stories include an optional peer-anonymity setting. For any feedback process, explain who can see responses and avoid promising anonymity that a small group or identifying comment cannot support.

Does InsightReflect share PerformancePulse rating scales?

The repo specifies separate configuration. InsightReflect has its own critique scales, categories, codes, and items; PerformancePulse uses its own evaluation configuration.

Is the new InsightReflect module available now?

The new-platform edition is planned. This page shows the intended experience and provides a free feedback framework you can use now.
